Project Management

Project Management (PM) designs and constructs projects included in the County’s annual Capital Improvement Program, as well as completes improvements to County-owned facilities to ensure accessible and safe environments for County departments and the public they serve.  PM staff prepares bid packages and advertisements for bids, negotiates and administers contracts for design and construction, and provides inspection and construction project management services from conceptual estimates through occupancy.

Doing Business with the County

The County requires that all businesses register as a vendor in the County’s eProcurement (ePro) network. For information on how to register, please visit the County’s Purchasing website. Registering in ePro enables vendors to receive notifications of bid opportunities, view bid documents and respond electronically. Registering requires vendors to select commodity code(s) for their business.  For information regarding commonly used commodity codes in PM, please see our FAQ.

Vendors should thoroughly review the bid documents to ensure they are able to meet all requirements, including any applicable State or Federal Prevailing Wage determinations.  If your company is selected for a project, we will require additional documentation to complete the awarding of the contract. This information includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • W-9
  • Direct Deposit Agreement
  • Insurance as specified in the bid documents
